I unexpectedly lost my husband on Monday. We were together for 30 years, married for 29.

Real sorry for your loss. You have support if you need it. Very nice obituary. If I knew Keith I would write. I'll talk at a wake even if I break down because its no easy losing a friend, but worse to let it go un commented on.

Thank you all! It's a strange and unknown journey now. And to make matters worse, I got Covid at the funeral. Bah humbug!! It's not too bad though. I started the antiviral right away and it worked very quickly. Mostly just tired now but that will pass.

Oh good grief, I can't believe you had covid on top of the loss and funeral. Thank God it wasn't too hard on you, and your tribute to Keith at the funeral was beautiful with the speakers. The pastor gave us some background information, and the photos are great. I'm loving your hair, too. It's so bold and so you I just love it. Thanks for sharing this with us KJ, it was a beautiful service, and prayers are still going up for you that God will bless you and help you ease into your new life.

Thank you Pink! When planning the service, it seemed like nothing was getting done. But, I was very pleased. It all came together. It was just perfect for him. <3 I just got a ring guard and am now wearing his wedding ring on my pinkie. It makes a fine looking pinkie ring! It will eventually be passed down to our youngest.

I went pink for Valentines Day on a whim. Ended up liking it, and Keith liked it a lot, so it stayed.

I'm glad it went well. Its not something schools teach you how to do. We are harboring my Dads ashes for when my mom goes too 97 and we will have a single ceremony at the Veterans cemetery by my sisters, close to where they lived. We all fly/drive in for family and times are rough regulations/service wise. Raining here.
