Go to a show. The world did not end.

Get out and get some fresh insights and materials from the hard working vendors. Enjoy the sights if nothing else.

Everything has started back up again (not that we were wearing masks or social distancing that fateful weekend and got our stupid awards, and natural immunity). The super spreader event is not a myth. A rock show is about as touchy as you can get with products if you think about it. It's the cowboy way to not cower forever, or it forget the danger too fast??? The vaccine coverage is about as saturated as we are going to get.

All 5 I know, including me, who got CCPV, not just tested positive, recovered without hospitalization without vaccines. Maybe we were all loaded up on vitamin D from our outside lifestyle? There has been Ivermectin in my bug out bag and fridge if needed. Just a dose the week before exposure wont stop you from being infected from my experiment. In any case the bioweapon has mutated weaker, yet contagiouser into the flu 2 from what I see in the news. $$ to be made with a yearly booster, works or not, so there will be an approved prevention to let life go back to living.
The report from our Klamath Falls Rock & Arrowhead Gem & Mineral club show in March.
Old Business: Looking for a newsletter editor, still.

New business:

Overall, the March show was a success. The silent auction and raffle did well. Vendors did well. Wheel of Fortune went through about 1,200 bags of tumbled rocks. In preparation for next year’s show, club members should consider tumbling rocks this summer. (I think we had 2200 plus paid admissions)
Fairground staff were pleased, and said the club is the only organization that does a good clean up. The spaghetti feed received good reviews. The club still needs to settle with food providers. Marshall said the broken black light sensor has been fixed.

Laura entertained a motion to donate $500 of show proceeds to Project Spirit Horse. Denise motioned. Lacey second. Motion passed unanimously.

Memorial Day field trip will be to the Lakeveiw Club Show at the county fairgrounds. The Tall Man Rock Chippers
they do field trips to the Tracinite, sunstones, Lassen Creek Rainbow Obsidian, somewhere. A lot of folks do dig on the weekend also locally. There is Black Cap Jasper up on Tower hill above town which was one of the materials I was after at the rock shop clean out years ago.
Hi Desert Crafts is still in business across the street from the fairgrounds. Stop in and say Hi to Jennifer & Mark to look at the collection if nothing else. I always end up buying something of the something else each time I stop. They have some of the chysocolla & copper ore there as Mark cuts more than I do.

The good news is the FDA has declared covid to be nothing more than a yearly flu now, for which they'll produce more non-vaccines to thwart whatever type is the most virulent each year. Also, Walgreen's stats show that the unvaxxed are the least infected, compared to the vaxxed, so you're right, it is safe to venture out and go to the rock and gem shows again. Oh, and it says THC thwarts the virus, so pot smokers apparently weren't as apt to become infected, and I've read many times that smokers in general had fewer cases of covid, oddly enough. Here's a link to the Walgreens story. https://patriottruthnews.com/stunner-ne ... accinated/

This was a great show to visit on a rainy spring day in Portland. We picked up some good material, looked at some amazing cases and had some great conversations.

If you want to learn more about this club and future events you can check out their website.
