All their offices worldwide received this accreditation. Just remember none of the labs accept any responsibility for making the wrong call. Use the link to access the sub-links to more information. ;)

GSI Has Received an Accreditation from SCS

GSI Has Received an Accreditation from SCS Global Services, which does third-party certification of environmental and sustainability claims across industries.

GSI received SCS’s Global Gem Identification Verification Provider accreditation for its laboratories and offices worldwide.

This means that GSI’s labs have the proper equipment, processes, technology, and capacity to reliably track diamonds certified as “sustainable” under SCS’s new standard for diamonds—SCS-007—through the grading process.

As such, these diamonds can be identified as a “Certified Sustainability Rated Diamond” on their GSI grading reports, provided they’ve also been Source Signature verified.

Commenting on the accreditation, GSI President and co-founder Debbie Azar said: “GSI supports the positive impact of doing good and responsible business, as embodied by companies compliant with the SCS-007 standard.”

SCS officially launched its sustainability standard for natural, lab-grown, and recycled diamonds at Las Vegas jewelry week this past August.

About two years in the making, the standard covers a wide range of issues related to performance and transparency, including production practices, origin traceability, and investment in vulnerable communities.

A 100-page-plus document outlining the standard is available on the SCS Global Services website.

So far, four producers have received sustainability certification under SCS-007; all are lab-grown diamond companies.

According to SCS, they are: WD Lab Grown Diamonds (the first company to have “certified sustainable” diamonds), Fenix/Noveau, Green Rocks Diamonds, and Lusix.

SCS said three additional producers are working toward sustainability certification: Meylor Global, Goldiam, and Maitri.

In addition to the accreditation, GSI announced earlier this year ... "
