Looking to buy or sell geologic treasures?

Post by PinkDiamond »

Here's a new venue to sell your rocks and gems through that some of our vendors may want to take a look at, and if any of you sign up do let us know. This was just recently launched by Rock and Gem. :)

Looking to buy or sell geologic treasures? Visit the MyRockHub Marketplace!

With the launch of the MyRockHub Marketplace, our goal is to provide an online space and program wherein our team can assist you in your efforts to sell rocks, minerals, gems, cabochons and other lapidary art and jewelry. And of course, provide you with the opportunity to purchase items available from other partner vendors.

To begin selling through the Marketplace, you’ll need to select a vendor partnership membership: General, Advanced or Premium. As part of every partnership plan, our team will work with you to create an individualized plan to promote to the items you are selling, as well as your business.

We hope to see you at MyRockHub.com,

I'm tempted as I'm on good terms with them. Its 20 a month for the lowest level and It looks real slick for the folks who signed up so far. It does have a 15% cut that decreases with the higher levels. Facebook was just after 11$ to show my video share to 539 people, not even a whole list of any of my pages or groups followers who signed up to see everything.

That would be nice if I ever got around to listing things. The problem is getting the market exposure. They at least already had the biggest marquee. I seem to be gravitating to making nice things as opposed to mining tons after all this time. Call it trying to see the forest for all the trees. I think I'd like to sell slabs as much as anything; well, other than killer opals and all that other stuff that comes along with it. The Facebook groups are so many different venues tying to get the buyers in, or ESTY which i should actually have more in my store. Organization. I wish i had backing to cover returns LMAO.

its actually responsive design... and a superior way to connect sellers and buyers...
given i am an application engineer, full stack, and more...

anyone want to give me their opinions and such so i can pass that along to a possible backer?
just wondering... 8-)

I wasn't sure if it was still on the table, Art. Glad to hear your plans are still in the works, and hope you find what you need to continue soon. ;)

I never give up...
you have known me for many years now..
when have i actually given up?
right now i am making money trading stock..
may have a job on the table... but its a long comute... however for 130k, i will take it for a year
however its a hedge fund... soooo i dont want to divest my positions..

its still on the table..
i thought if i put it up... i would get feedback i can use to get my backers to move on it
ie. as i mentioned they WANT the returns, but they also WANT to understand it, which they cant as its not what they expect

sigh

with swordfish, and others, i may have the instigation to the perspiration, to have the perspicacity to get the propitious payments
heh

note that the site above would NOT be one of my competitors.
my place would be for cutters and rough, and that side of it
we are a neglected lot...    :D

I know and its a funny market, but the solid following some people have online for their finished products show there is a market there. The problem came with the undercutting and lying or sheer robbery of the online bazaar. The security of vetted sellers would be a definite draw.
