I was just going to name this thread, Unique Mexican Cantera opal, but that sounded kind of boring after my Dr. Seuss side kicked in and I thought of green eggs and ham, so I went with white eggs and opal to intrigue you and lure you in to see this puppy.
This one is 5cts, and went for all for $62. There are lines you can plainly see in the pic and video that look like surface crazing, or maybe healed fractures that may have kept the bidding down, since I saw this in OA's newsletter last week, and have been watching to see how it did, and what it went for. Has anyone ever seen anything like it?

Reminds me a little of the kinds crystal opals coming out of Opal Butte, in Oregon... that is very interesting looking...I like it! I would be trying to find a way to wear it if it’s a dry specimen lol

Except for the matrix, the floating balls reminded me of Opal Butte, too.
