Wow, how time flies... Its 2017, time for another INTERNATIONAL OPAL JEWELRY DESIGNER'S AWARDS!

Deadline on entries is July 10th!

I guess they updated the site back in november, I missed it, but I found my old entry and went to check on it. Initially, they didn't have all the entries so I never knew how mine compared to the other non winners (no, I'm not complaining!) but now they have lots more pictures up and I hope everyone goes take a look at them and enter if you can!

They did a nice job with the pictures! Got two sides of mine! Now, what should I do for 2017...

That's fantastic BL. Really awesome, and the awards certainly were a feast for the eyes. I noticed MichaelB and MargieB's owl in the Fantasy category I think. Anybody else have one in the list that I missed?

Way cool, and thanks for the eye candy. Now I'll wipe the drool off my keyboard.

Oh, that's right, we had quite a few members who did well last year. I hope KJ can find time to enter, and BL, got any idea about what you'll do this year? Keep us posted if any of y'all enter the contest so we can root for you.

Yup. I had two in there. My Rose and my Wing. And Kurt had two as well. His mermaid/dolphin and a... demon head?

I tried really hard to get a carving done for the IOJDAA competition this year but with MS End of Year and my eye problems lately i wasn't able to get it done in time.

Bummer, KJ. Hopefully you'll get the eyes done soon so at least that issue won't be holding you back anymore.
