Absolutely, John, that last one's a real stunner. But your first link says the video isn't available because you disabled it to play on other sites.

Between 100,000 and 200,000 pets are abandoned in France each year, with 60% of these incidents occurring over the summer.

By comparison, the RSPCA animal charity told the BBC that the figure is close to 16,000 in the UK.

Wow. Read the whole article.

New research suggests that almost everybody’s immune system is capable of creating antibodies strong enough to neutralize SARS-CoV-2 if they’re exposed to the virus, but not everyone can make enough of them to be useful. However, if a vaccine is designed to target these particular antibodies, scientists think it will effectively boost immune response.

They're not cheap, but they can be washed repeatedly and still maintain their ability to kill viruses, and they're also reversible, plus they'll still work a year from now so if you're buying disposable masks you may want to look into these since they still might be more cost effective for you, and they're definitely more effective than a disposable mask. ;)

Israel invents mask that also kills Coronavirus

It Is Not Just a Facemask.

It Is a Corona-Killer.

Israeli start-up Sonovia Ltd. engineered a unique reusable mask with antiviral properties that last over a year. During the emergence of the coronavirus pandemic, Sonovia applied its anti-microbial technology, developed in 2013, to a line of dual-layered face masks that neutralize bacteria and fungi thanks to dedicated nanotechnology. Relative to its competitors, the SonoMask offers superior protection, reusability, and comfort. The initiative was developed with Dr Jason Migdal, a scientist orginally from London, England who helped transfer the tech developed for hospital solution into the mask now supporting communities globally.

Sonovia’s Sonomask has undergone external laboratory tests, which successfully corroborated that its unique and permanent fabric impregnation of Zinc oxide nanoparticles have a strong antiviral effect and have successfully eliminated over 90% of COVID-19 particles. The test emphasized that the mask works to deactivate 99.9% of viruses. The results further revealed that Sonovia's mask has a 98% effectiveness at filtering 5 microns particles, following WHO guidelines.

Recently, the Israeli company released a premium, fully adjustable model in four sizes suitable for women, men, juniors, and children. The SonoMask has form-fitting adjustable bands and nose wire that help comfort the mask to your face, forming a close-seal around the mouth and nose, providing unparalleled comfort and protection.

British-born, Dr. Jason Migdal, Microbiology R&D Strategist of Sonovia: "We made some prototypes and donated to the people in need. We sent some to non-profits in Israel and to Tel HaShomer hospital (one of the first hospitals in Israel to open a coronavirus unit). We now feel it is our responsibility to supply the world with our proprietary, disruptive technology. Our team is working around-the-clock because we believe our technology provides the most effective, efficient, and eco-friendly form of protection."

Sonovia’s unique fabric is designed for extended use and was scientifically proven, by Austria’s HygCen medical lab, to preserve its antibacterial properties even after 65 wash cycles. This feature eliminates the need to regularly buy masks or filters, reducing the environmental footprint of disposable masks.

Sonovia is an Israeli based company that has been featured in renowned media outlets for its innovative antiviral masks, which is trusted by over 100 thousand customers. Sonovia has a partnership with German manufacturers Bruckner and Weber Ultrasonics, serves hospitals in Germany and the United States, and has an ongoing pilot with Adler Plastic in Italy to use Sonovia’s fabric in vehicles and public transport.

Ancient Muslim Texts Confirm the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.
Jerusalem Center researcher Nadav Shragai responds to modern-day Muslim and Palestinian fabrications about the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem with the testimonies of esteemed Islamic religious authorities from more than 1,000 years ago. He presents archeological evidence such as a Jewish ritual bath found under the al-Aqsa mosque and Islamic coins with a Jewish menorah imprinted on them, and documents how the Jews of Jerusalem introduced the Muslim conquerors of the city to the Temple Mount and accompanied them on their visit there. This is a chapter from his latest book in Hebrew, Al-Aqsa Terror: From Blood Libel to Bloodshed (Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, 2020).
