This is just over half the number of days in traditional Advent calendars, which run for 40 days, not 24, but I would think they shortened it because it's the most expensive Advent calendar I've ever seen since it comes with gold earrings set with lab-grown gemstones, so this one's for adults, not kids. "Advent calendars have always been a favorite tradition of mine, though it’s one that I have nearly forgotten. It’s time I start them up again this year and let my daughter experience the joys of that admittedly pretty disgusting, crumbly chocolate that’s standard in the cardboard Christmas Advent calendars found in grocery stores everywhere. Ah, the memories.
