I should have said that in the title. They do make the Ito stuff in pink base, but I think its more per gram..

I don't see why it couldn't be done with synth opal, which comes in all sorts of base colors.

it is synth opal plastic... yuck..

meanwhile... just pre polished the REAL opals i did with the small file
as you cant find the last imperfections without that..

and am using boxes of dental ceramic polishers for most of the work
Course, mid course, rough, fine..
black, white, green, brown

they are cheap... i think i have 500 of each from dental supply
they do a good enough job... even better if your using them to save cash on more expensive stuff
