new topics.

Post by jakesrocks »

I asked for and got this space for the use of all members to show off hobbies they're involved in which are outside of the realm of Lapidary and jewelry. I know that I can't be the only person on this forum with outside interests, so come on and show us your other hobbies.

My own is leather carving. I've been away from that hobby for 30 + years, and recently decided to get back into the craft.

Lydia, when I start on leather tooling I plan to do a step by step layout with plenty of pics. If you have any hobbies that you'd like to share, please join in. It's always interesting to see what folks do outside of the lapidary / jewelry world. You know, for those times when you just need a break from your main interests.

Thanks for showing the 8's. Beautiful flowers. I tried growing perennials when we first moved to S.D., but with our crazy springs the flowers would break dormancy, put out leaves & flower buds, then get frozen right back to the ground.

Nice. We've just had snow drops and the beginnings of daffodils.
