My mom just passed away in May, and we took 4 loads of stuff to the dump/recyclers, donated 2 truckloads of clothing to the women's shelter, gave away boxes and boxes of sewing material, and gave away a truckload of hand painted crafts that she did back in the day when they had a craft business, and there's still no room in this place!

When we moved in here with my step dad (who was now alone until we moved in) I literally filled a huge dumpster with all of our stuff, we just threw most of it away, (sold the good stuff online of course though) and brought only the necessities here, and STILL we have a ton of stuff!

OH, BTW, gem polishing equipment is an absolute life necessity!!! LOL

It's absolutely amazing how much stuff a person accumulates in their life time, but if you think about it, the only things that would be left of our "stuff" a million years from now when we are all gone is the gems and stones we cut and carve, they last forever!!

KJ, the car is a 1930 Ford standard coupe with a much modified 1928 Ford engine. Old school hot rod.

Car was built in California by an old friend who passed away. His wife sold it to me because she knew I wouldn't change anything on it. It had 2 features in Rod & custom magazine a few years back.

One of my long term serious boyfriends has a 1950 3/4 ton truck. I loved that thing. Years and years after we broke up I found out he sold it and still got mad. ;) His uncle also had a 1920 Modal A saved for him. He's not selling that one though. I don't think. Lost touch a long time ago.

KJ, 1920 would be a Model T. Model A's were 1928 - 1931.

It was too long ago for me to remember. Pretty sure it was 1920. I used to have a photo but that's long gone so I can't look it up.
