Tips for using our forum

Post by PinkDiamond »

You will need to make 2 pre-screened posts before your posts will appear on the board automatically.

After you have had 2 posts approved you will have full run of the forum and be able to access private messaging.

From the Board Index page, under the banner in the upper left hand corner you'll see "Quick links". Click that to view the Active Topics for the week, Unread posts, Your posts, etc.

Hope that helps but if you have further questions just let us know and we'll do our best to answer them. :D

Re: Tips for posting photos

Post by rocks2dust »

If you haven't posted a photo before:

You may post photos on these boards by clicking on the [img] button at the top of the editing window, then pasting the location (URL) of your image between (see below).

Just replace ADDRESS OF YOUR PICTURE with the URL to the location of your picture. For example this address...

appears in a post as...
Image

If you do not already have a service on which to store your images, you can use one of the many free photo sharing services, such as cloudinary.com, postimg.org, imagevenue.com or imageshack.us (each will have its own requirements for posting to online forums).

Try to keep picture dimensions a reasonable size (800 pixels maximum dimension would work for most purposes). Photo editing programs, photo sharing websites and cameras/camera software often have features to crop and resize images.
