Paragon SC2 & Different Clays

Post by kjsspot »

Hey y'all. So I might have mentioned that I finally got a kiln. I chose the Paragon SC2. I finally got a chance to test it out this week. Here are my first fires.

So far I tried MCP 999, BronzClay, & Aussie Metal Clay. Gotta say, HUGE difference between the Aussie & the BronzClay.
You can see in the flower comparison how much more detail I was able to keep and it was so much easier to work with.

I was also pleased with the MCP 999. (Metal Clay Powder in Fine Silver)

Wow KJ, there really is a big difference between them. I'm so happy you found the better clay that shows off the intricacies of your work. Looks great! :!:
