Lightning and water. Not a good mix!

Post by PinkDiamond »

Someone sent this to me in email last night and I was so shocked at how long the river roiled after the strike that I had to find it on YT so I could show it to you. This ought to give anyone who takes lightning lightly and healthy respect for it. The lightning skips down the ramp, strikes the rock, hits the water and it roils for a full minute. I'm sure you'll want to watch the strike more than once like we did. Whoa baby!!!

I want to say I saw this dis-bunked years ago as prima cord (blasting rope) and underwater dynamite due to the orange blast smoke.
