Tools of the trade.

Post by jakesrocks »

How about a section for tools of the trade ? ie, Gemology, metal smithing, lapidary, fossil / mineral prep, maybe even vintage tools & equipment being restored or re-purposed ?

When Chris feels up to it I have asked him to add categories and rearrange some sections to make it easier to find a place to post things, although I only had one category for equipment and figured we would just have threads about each type, so we're waiting for him to have the time to spend when he feels well enough to tackle it. ;)

Thank you PD. I have several projects in the works, such as an old 6" Beacon Star lapidary grinder which is being refurbished & fitted with a set of 5 convex diamond carving wheels. A special section would allow us to share ideas and info on the various tools of our hobby / trade.

Sorry folks, life is a bit crazy lately with my mom recently passing away.
As soon as I get the time I'll be adding and reorganizing the forum as per Pink's instructions.
Take care all and thanks for your patience!
Chris :)

We completely understand Chris. You just get what you need done, and wait until you feel up to it. We appreciate all you do, and we know it will all come together eventually, so don't sweat it. ;)

I Fully understand Chris. Take your time. I've been through it with both of my parents & a father in law. Mother in law is in a nursing home, and the wait for the inevitable has begun.
The forum will still be here. When you feel up to it, I'm sure you'll get it done.
