Mad dash to Fairburn, SD and back

Took a 30-hour trip to and from Fairburn, SD last weekend, slideshow here:

We didn't find any Fairburns, but I did get to test my truck out fording a 4-foot deep, flooded creek and some pretty bad off-road trails. I did also bring home some nice jaspers, rose quartz and petrified wood (all small pieces for the tumbler.)

That was fun, John, and is laid out very nicely. Only part I couldn't see was what was causing the smell in the stinky motel room. I'm thinking I might have preferred to try to sleep in the car. :lol:
