Hello from Bangkok!

Post by ParagonUniversal »

Hi Everyone!

My name is David Fortier and I am an American gemologist living and working in Bangkok with my wife Melanie who is from the Philippines. We have an office in the gemstone district in Silom. I've been a rock and gem fanatic since I was a little kid living in Ohio so this is ideal work for me. We spend most days going from dealer to dealer here trying to find unusual and beautiful stones that also offer good value, and we also make custom jewelry.

Looking forward to making some friends on the board!

Hi Dave, and warmest welcome to the forum! I'm delighted you joined us, and I know the members are going to love seeing your gemstones. :!:

I've known Dave for many years now, and he is one of my top "trusted sellers". He and Melanie get some of the most beautiful gems, and his prices are excellent IMHO so y'all have to take a look at what they have to offer, and you can also let him know if you're looking for a particular type of gem. If anyone can find it for you, Dave can. ;)

I'm coveting those gorgeous moldavites you have at the moment, among other things I saw on your site, so you'll have to put a link to it in your signature so it's on every post you make and folks can easily click thru and to see what you have.

Hugs to you and Melanie, and again, welcome to the Board. :D

Since I don't do fleabay, I couldn't even sneak and buy one of those moldavites for myself, so I decided to give Steve a chance and see what he would do. He ordered it for me! Check out the color on this puppy I'm getting from Dave. :D

Not that I'm aware of Dave, but it would have been sent to Steve's office, and he hasn't been there for the past 2 days. He has patients tomorrow though, so I'll let you know after he gets home if it's there. :)

I looked at the dates and it's a little bit early. We usually tell people 15-25 days. Fingers crossed!!!!!
