We, like so many of you, are caught in an Arctic blast, with temps in the single digits and below, and they won't be budging for a few days, plus it's snowing. I went into the living room to water my plants, and when I looked out the picture window, this is what I saw, although by the time I ran and got my camera he had moved down the hill so I had to zoom in so you could see him. Check this out.
I even opened the door to get the shots and it didn't phase him a bit. What a treat to have gone in there just in time to see that beauty! Between that and the myriad of types of birds crowding my feeders by the dozens, I have the best show on earth right outside my door. Gosh I love living so close to nature!
