Like I said, its big. As you can see most is sand but there are about three layers of color in it.
The middle of the color is going to be black, or nothing I reckon.
as the white sits on top of black which has thin color visible.
You can also see thats its stuck to the sandstone and has formed into plates as the opal dried. So if yo-u wanted to cut it
all you have to do is follow the lines with your saw.
The black up the other end, is probably all thin.
I thinkm its best left whole as it is a nice example really and pieces this big usually belted with a hammer in the field.

I'm interested but just had eye surgery so I won't have a clear head for a couple of weeks.

What again? How many is that, I hope it went ok.
One of my customers is in his 80s and he's on the cannabis eye drops to stop him going blind.
Something about eyeball pressure.
