The second issue of Illustrious Opals is now available from rockngem.com, and this one has the fossilized bee in opal, plus there's a good deal of focus on Virgin Valley opals in this one, more so than we usually see, as well as all the other places opals are mined, plus sources for buying them. Enjoy!

I had been arguing for decades we have preserved roots here and nobody would give us credit for organic replacements....SEE? I will say i have always been looking for life artifacts in every opal and I had not seen a bug yet. No magnification used.
