Gotcha!

Post by mick »

Recently, a lady was in Coober Pedy on business and was shown some Opal by a local.

It was said to be Lightning Ridge Black Opal flag pattern. $7000.

Little did the fool know, he was dealing with the daughter of one of Australias most esteemed Opal Miners and Dealers.
She has seen more Opal since she was a baby than he has had hot dinners. She would own more than this thief has ever seen.
She is a very experienced and successful Opal dealer in her own right.

No doubt, the cockroach will be made a fool of in due course, very publicly is my guess.

To pass of Andamooka Treated Matrix as Lightning Ridge Black Opal is a heinious crime.

This is what happens to tourists all the time, honestly never buy Opal in the field in Australia, its not worth the risk.

Hope he is publicly shamed, but sadly, I doubt he will learn a lesson from it, and won't change his ways; much like the scam artist you're dealing with, John.
