Those misters do work, but ya get water damage or mineral build up as a rule somewhere. I remember the first tire shop in Joshua tree in the summer i ever felt one. I've seen Bull snakes working the line of swallows nests down a rafter before. Scared the person I was with by waiting to point it out until we were under it.

The ducks wanted outside alright, for good reason. I love Swallows and all the insect eating birds, but they are not allowed to build nests over where I regularly walk or park or you'll get a colony going.
