Saturday night we had a explosive evening of Auroras province wide. Some shots from the locals. Got into a new area around disdero lake that produces waterline agates, and the site is huge and barely touched. Biggest so far was a 60 pounder that came out and broke into 2 pieces, only saw it on a pic. Recently Warren pulled out a 20 pounder laying near the surface. I found nothing that big this...

Pics of one of many wildfires burning. This one was only on one side of the hwy fri, jumped over by mon on the way back home. This was in Rodgers pass. Hail this size you wont want to be in. They can kill you you. Back from the 1800 km trip, good to be home and pics to come when I get the chance to upload them from my cams. Good haul of rocks too. Whoa! That's quite an anvil cloud you've got there ... or is that a shelf cloud?? Either way, those things always make me nervous because they look so menacing, and usually the outflow winds are where the high gusts are. Scary! Your correct, Its a shelf cloud.
