Thank for the great comments. This jade was very hard. Easily 6.6 about as hard as nephrite gets. I used diamond paper on the smoothing stages. To slow with carbide sticks. Your style is really cool 8-) I was always wondering what are your techniques & tools ? btw. I need some better burs and w...

Hi Michele , it looks like there was an fracture (you can see the white line) - possibly it was partially healed which mean that there was crack which later was refilled by silica.

I like his settings - simple and pro - but the design of the last pendant is very good and even though it looks simple it's very hard to make it right !
