May I make a suggestion? Get some thing glass and practice the stroke method to turn the flat glass into a shallow dome. This skill works great with triplets and would work well with you are doing. Baking Soda is a winner all-round. It changes the pH and disturbs the reaction. I quit carrying Adolph's Meat Tenderizer and used baking soda instead for jellyfish and Man-O-War stings.
