Re: How China’s Jewelry Business Changed After the COVID-19 Lockdown

So much to do, so little time.... checking in from time to time... We are fine thank you. We survived those stupid demonstrations last year, and thus far Hong Kong seems to be one of the safest places to be, in regards to the virus. My family is thus far very lucky, despite of financial losses cause...

Re: How China’s Jewelry Business Changed After the COVID-19 Lockdown

As a whole, online busines, will find its emergence in a completely new light. This virus has helped to solidify and catapult any online activities well into the future. We might see a huge increase of work from home, even after the virus is contained. Why pay for huge offices, when you can allow, a...

Re: Kurt?

While there is no danger on personal safety, I'm sure that it will impact the show. In the meantime, the real cost of the stupidity of the student actions is coming to the surface. Business lost, means layoffs throughout the city. Violence lead to more controls being implemented, and people have bee...

Re: Kurt?

The original problem was created because of an Extradition Bill tabled for approval through our cabinet. A law that we need on one hand, and yet is easely abused. We need the law in order to ensue we are not a safe heaven for real criminals. But, the fear is that people undully accused by China woul...

Re: Kurt?

I'm so sorry, having neglected all the forums. Just saw Pinks private message on coming in (notifications of new posts go to an email that I rarely use, so when I open single notifications are hopelessly lost) May I put your mind to ease, I was in Austria as the whole thing flared up in June, and wa...

Re: Fixing your dog can break it.

Don't know about behaviour problems, but our Lilo (a stray that wandered into the house 18 years ago), never had any health problems at all. That is until we had to haver her spayed. To many dogs around the village, and no way to give away the pups anymore. As soon as the procedure was over and done...

Re: Oversupply an Issue at Hong Kong Show

Would not be too surprised if all the talk about manufactured diamonds is part of the downturn. The average person buying diamonds was never to sure about the nature of stones, and now with even the biggest suppliers jumping on the bandwagon of producing, the trust in them has all but vanished.

Re: Prolonged absence

The strange thing is, I seem to be doing better with things that I have never even considered before. Minimalism; taking pictures for very spezific reasons and hard to understand for most. So extremely different from the usual fare. Black and White Photography, something I do like now, and still lea...
